GFR Media’s Chairperson Discusses Hurricane María’s Aftermath

Maria Eugenia Ferré Rangel, GFR Media’s Chairperson of the Board of Directors, sat down with the International News and Media Association (INMA) to talk about Hurricane María’s aftermath at GFR Media and how just one day after the catastrophe, both of its newspapers, El Nuevo Día and Primera Hora had begun the process of normalizing content publication and newspaper distribution. In this context, she addressed GFR Media’s market opportunities, as well as the adaptations they face with the rising use of technology and digital journalism within a content-driven business.
