On September 19, 2017, hours before Hurricane María made landfall, photographers and reporters from our GFR Media publications hit the road with backpacks full of equipment, food and clothes to document the fury of this atmospheric phenomenon throughout the island of Puerto Rico.

The publication A un Año de María documented our journalistic team’s efforts and the hurricane’s effect on the island and its people. This photographic book showed the post-hurricane catastrophe, but also the recovery of those places one year later.
